Pork Jerky & Cheese French Toast

Energizing breakfast for your new fresh day!
Ingredients for 2 persons

2 eggs
1/2 cups of milk
a pinch of salt
1 tsp of seasoning sauce
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1/2 tsp of dried sweet basil
4 thick slices of bread, you should use leftover bread
2 tbsp of butter
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
200 gr of grated cheese
50 gr of pulled pork jerky

How to make

  1. Preheat oven to 250 C. 
  2. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and set aside.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, seasoning sauce and dried sweet basil.
  4. Soak each side of sliced bread in egg mixture. Make sure that they're all soaked through.
  5. On pan with medium heat, put the butter and vegetable oil in, and fry each side of bread slices until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the fried bread slices to the wire rack. 
  7. Bake each side about 5 minutes.
  8. Then sprinkle grated cheese and pulled pork jerky on top of each slice.
  9. Bake more for 2 minutes.
  10. Ready to serve!
