2 eggs
1/2 cups of milk
a pinch of salt
1 tsp of seasoning sauce
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1/2 tsp of dried sweet basil
4 thick slices of bread, you should use leftover bread
2 tbsp of butter
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
200 gr of grated cheese
50 gr of pulled pork jerky
How to make
- Preheat oven to 250 C.
- Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and set aside.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, seasoning sauce and dried sweet basil.
- Soak each side of sliced bread in egg mixture. Make sure that they're all soaked through.
- On pan with medium heat, put the butter and vegetable oil in, and fry each side of bread slices until golden brown.
- Transfer the fried bread slices to the wire rack.
- Bake each side about 5 minutes.
- Then sprinkle grated cheese and pulled pork jerky on top of each slice.
- Bake more for 2 minutes.
- Ready to serve!
