Fried rice
1 canned kimchi, chopped (160 grams)
1 cup of cooked rice
kimchi juice that you get from the can
2 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tbsp of oyster sauce
0,5 tsp of sugar
0.5 tsp of Korean hot pepper paste (gochujang) If you like very spicy, you can add it more.
1 tbsp of vegetable oil for stir-frying
Some extra vegetables that you preferred (I used broccoli and red paprika)
How to make
- Mix all above ingredients, except for chopped kimchi and rice to get a sauce. Set aside.
- Stir-fry extra vegetable with vegetable oil.
- Add rice and chopped kimchi and mix them.
- Pour in the sauce and mix well.
1 medium piece of pork chop, sliced
1 tsp of ginger powder
2 tsp of cassava flour/ corn starch
1 chopped dried chili
1 tbsp of sesame seeds
2 tbsp of soy sauce
1 tbsp of syrup
1 tbsp of rice vinegar
1 tbsp of mustard
0.5 tsp of garlic powder
1/4 cup of water
2 tbsp of vegetable oil for frying
How to make
- Marinade pork with ginger, salt and pepper. Then, dust it with cassava flour.
- Fry the pork on medium heat with vegetable oil until getting lightly brown.
- Add the rest of ingredients into the pork and stir to let the sauce covered the pork.
- Stew the pork for about 5 minutes. Serve with the fried rice immediately.
